Bibliography
The study is entitled Acceptability of Developed Sewing Patterns. It developed and compiled sewing patterns for garment instruction that can be used by the students that are taking up garments or even other individuals who are interested in sewing. it covers the 3 categories of sewing patterns which are the men's garments, women's garments and kid's garments. The study made use of descriptive method of research and it was conducted during the first semester of school year 2018-2019. The respondents were from senior high school major in garments of Tadian School of Arts and Trades (TSAT), garment teachers, tailors and fashion enthusiasts. A questionnaire was used as the data gathering tool. The sewing patterns developed and compiled for sewing garment instruction were men's garment, women's garment and kid's garment. It was concluded that the sewing patterns could be enhanced and modified and the sewing patterns are strongly acceptable as instructional materials for the garment students. It is therefore recommended that in drafting the pattern for any garment, Auto CAD be employed as a device since pattern papers are now expensive and most outputs nowadays are computer generated. Also, the developed and compiled sewing patterns could be showcased and couls be used for instructional purposes at Tadian Schoool of Arts and Trades and Mountain Province Polytechnic College (MPSPC).
