This study titled " Fashion Sense Among Students of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College - Tadian Campus" was conducted to determine the following: the level of importance of fashion in students' life; the extra of preference of students on their upper and lower clothing in terms of garment fabric types, colors and garments fittings for their casual, formal and sporty fashion; and the type of dresser that students like or prefer in the opposite sex.
The study made use of the descriptive method of research and it was conducted during second semester of the academic year 2017-2018. The respondents included representatives from the students of the Teacher Education Department (TED). Engineering Department, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) and the Forestry Department.

As a result, the researchers found out that fashion is very important to all of the respondents regardless of their age, gender, civil status and field of study. Respondents were agitated if they think that they were not on their best outfit.

The clothing selection of the respondents varied according to their age, gender, civil status and field of study. The following were the preferences of the respondents for their upper and lower clothing selections: on casual clothing selection, cotton (upper) and denim (lower) for the garment fabric types, blue (upper) and black (lower) for the colors, and regular fit for the upper and lower fitting; on the formal clothing selection, silk (upper) and wool (lower) for the garment fabric types, black for the upper and lower colors, and regular fit for the upper and lower fitting; and on the sporty clothing selection, cotton (upper) and nylon (lower) for the garment fabrics types, blue (upper) and black (lower) for the colors, and regular fit for the upper and lower fitting.

On the respondents' preference for the type of dresser in the opposite sex, male prefer girls to be dressed conservatively while female respondents prefer sporty and preppy clothing for the boys. Girls are prettier and are more likely to be respected if they were dressed conservatively and boys on their sporty and preppy fashion appear to be more gentle and handsome.

It is therefore recommended that the respondents should learn to balance school to be fashion world. the people concerned on the fashion industry should look into the profiles of each individual in order to cater for their needs and to grow profitable business. Identify is conveyed through fashion, issues includes the articulation of concepts of femininity and masculinity. Hence, the preference of an individual in the opposite sex should be another considerable factor in clothing selection.
